I sent a message out on June 10,
that listed some of the things
that Jesus said the Holy Spirit
would do for us (in John
14:26). I listed those things
and encouraged you to print it
out or write it down for future
reference and reminder. I truly
believe that it will help you
become more and more aware of
His "personal" Presence in your
daily life!
Today I want to share about Him
being my "helper". He is
the manifestation of the
scripture that says.. "God is a
very present
help in time of trouble" (Psalm
46:1).
That means anytime we need help!
Not only in disasters or
emergencies, etc. but also
anytime we are having trouble
doing something! I was
exceedingly glad to get a
revelation of that part of His
help! Because, there are many
things that I have trouble doing
that maybe I used to could do.
For example: It seems to me
like we are living in a time
when so many companies are
wanting us to "buy" their
products, but they don't want
you to be able to get them
open!
I think that they must use a big
vise to tighten the lids and
caps, or they seal their product
up in hard plastic so that only
a rocket scientist could figure
out a way to get in to it!
Can any of you relate to what I
am saying? Surely I am not the
only one having a problem with
these kinds of things! Well,
guess what
....
I have found a way to disappoint
their devices! I used to ask my
son or someone else that might
be standing by me to help me and
they would have the strength to
do it. But now, I just ask the
only one standing by me to help,
and that is the Holy Spirit.
After all, I have also found out
that He is my "stand by" and my
"strengthener"!
I want to continue sharing about
my "personal" Helper, so I will
do that in my next message.
Think about it! He wants to be
YOUR personal helper also!
