Did you know that when we ask Holy
Spirit for His help, that it pleases
Him? Oh yes! He loves it when we ask
Him to be included and involved in
everything and anything we do. In
fact, I believe that it grieves Him
when we do not ask Him for
His help, advice and wisdom!
However, He will wait for us to
"ask" Him.
I can remember back to times in my
life when I did not have this
revelation of being continually
aware of His presence, or of knowing
that He wanted to help me.
So, I would struggle and stress out
over certain situations that I was
having trouble with. I still have a
tendency to go that way, but now I
stop and remember that I don't have
to do that anymore. I realize how
foolish that is when all I have to
do is just "ask" my Helper to show
me what to do!
The Word of God tells us to have
"child-like" faith, NOT "child-like"
attitudes! If we still have the
"I'll do it myself, I'll do it
myself" attitude, then we have not
matured in the ways of God! Think
about it! The Word of God also tells
us that He will give us both the
desire and the ability to do what
pleases Him! (Philippians 2:13) He
does it by the Holy Spirit that is
"within" us and also "with" us! He
is so AWESOME! Can I get an Amen?
