Good Morning!
It is time, once
again, for me to welcome some
new readers of T.O.D.A.Y.'S
Encouragements! So, I want
to say to you what I have always
said to "new readers" . . .
Thank you for your interest in
the Encouragements! May they
bless your life and strengthen
your daily walk with The Lord!
Please feel free to share them
with your friends and family! I
consider all of my readers as
"family"! It is a way of
staying "connected" with other
members of the Family of God,
and bringing unity to the body
of Christ! I have readers from
all different "denominations",
and every one of them are very
precious to God AND to me! The
Lord is not "wrapped up" in
denominational names . . . He is
all about "individual" people
and He knows YOUR name! I am
just following the leading of
the Holy Spirit about this . . .
The name of your "denomination"
is not written on the palm of
His hands, but YOUR personal
name is! Praise God!! What we
need to remember is this . . .
not only is YOUR name written on
the palm of His hand, but also
the names of every other
member of the BODY of Christ
(which is what The Bible calls
the "CHURCH")! We need to get a
"revelation" of this. The Holy
Spirit is speaking to the
'CHURCH" right now about
pursuing this "unity". We may
never be in agreement with every
"doctrine" that different
denominations preach . . .
but we are told in God's Word
that we all are supposed come
together in the "unity" of the
FAITH! We can do that by just
walking in LOVE with other
members of the body of Christ.
God's Word says that our "faith"
only works by "love"! Loving
people with God's kind of "love"
does not mean that we have to
AGREE with what other people say
or do . . . it means that we are
to see them as "valuable and
precious to God"! We might as
well start doing that right now,
here on earth . . . because we
are going to have to live
together forever in Heaven!
The "Baptists" are going to have
to live with the "Methodists",
and they are going to
have to live with the
"Pentecostals", and they
are going to have to live with
every other person that has ever
accepted Jesus as their Savior
regardless of what "church" they
are attending here on earth! It
is the "new birth" and our
"faith in Jesus Christ" that
unites us as one! If we
can't agree on anything
else, we MUST choose to come
into agreement on those two
things!
Well, once again,
The Holy Spirit has changed what
I thought would be my "message"
today. I am so glad He did!
There
is "power" in UNITY! See
