"STAYING
COVENANT-MINDED"
My prayer for you, today, is that
you will receive a revelation of how
important the gift of Joy is! It
has a tremendous affect on your
"faith".... your "attitude"....your
"disposition"....your
"emotions"....and even your
"health"!
Hebrews 11:1 tells us that "faith is
the substance of things hoped for
and the evidence of things not
seen". Notice that it does not say
"things WISHED for"! The literal
translation of that word "hope"
is....joyful expectation. The word
"substance" is defined
as...assurance, confirmation,
title-deed. So think about
this.....if you let the enemy steal
your joy, then it will be impossible
for you to have any "joyful
expectations"! Therefore, your
faith will not have anything to give
"substance" to!
Say this.....Thank You, Lord
for giving me this powerful gift of
"Joy", and I choose this day to be
full of Joy so that My faith will
not be hindered. I want to be able
to receive all of Your Covenant
blessings. I want to have a right
attitude and disposition. I want to
be able to make right choices
according to Your will, and I want
to stay healthy!
There are many scriptures
that talk about "Joy", and I have
only covered a few of them. I
encourage you to use a concordance
to find some more of them. If you
do not have a concordance, you can
go on line and find some.
