"FATHER
KNOWS BEST"
Instead of "making a list and
checking it twice" about all the bad
things that people have done to
you, get rid of that bitterness and
resentment and begin to focus on all
of the good things that your Father
God wants to do for you! When you
choose to do that, then you can make
a different kind of 'list'. In my
last message, He gave us something
to put on our "to do" list in order
to find favor with God and all
people. Today, He is going to give
us something to put on our "not to
do" list.
If you want to be blessed and
fruitful, and if you want everything
that you do to prosper, then make
sure that you are not taking advice
from ungodly people. I am feeling
led to go ahead and type out what
God says in Psalm 1: 1 (Amp.)~~~~~
Blessed---happy,
fortunate, prosperous and
enviable---is the man who walks and
lives not in the counsel of
the ungodly [following their advice,
their plans and purposes], nor
stands submissive and inactive in
the path where sinners walk, nor
sits down [to relax and rest] where
the scornful [and the mockers]
gather.
Think about it......why
would we want to take advice from
doctors, lawyers or counselors that
don't know God and don't know
anything about what His Word says
concerning our personal situations?
And as far as the rest of what that
scripture says.....how can we expect
to lead the lost to Jesus, if we
walk and talk like them, and watch
the same things on television and
the movies that they do?
I want the "blessings" of
God on my life and I am sure that
all of you that are reading this
want that same thing. So, let's
just make a quality decision to do
things God's way! After
all...........Father knows best!
