Think on
these things....
Psalm 46:1 says, "God is our refuge
and strength, a very present help in
trouble".
In my last Encouragement, I said
that I would be giving a scripture
at the beginning of each of the
messages that the Holy Spirit
is leading me to send out in this
new "assignment". I also encouraged
you to read those scriptures (out
loud). If you have done that with
this one, then think about the first
two words....GOD IS! That
does not only mean that He "exists",
but that He IS everything that He
says that He IS, and that He will DO
everything that He says He will DO!
We are living in a world
that is trying to get everyone to
believe that God isn't! That
is why the Bible tells us to...."not
be conformed to this world, but be
transformed by the renewing of our
"minds". Well, how do we renew our
minds? It all has to do with our
"thoughts"! I am not implying that
anyone that is reading this does not
believe that God "exists", I know
that you do. However, sometimes you
may not believe (totally trust
in and rely upon) what He says, in
His written Word, that He has
already done and will continue to do
for you!
I want to encourage you to
start thinking, every day and all
day long, about those two
words.....GOD IS! Just say
it, out of your mouth....GOD IS!
I will be talking about other
scriptures that tells us what God is
to us and for us, but think about
what the above scripture says.....He
is your "refuge" (a place of safety,
comfort and protection). He is your
"strength", and He will always be
your "help" in any kind of trouble
or need! Think about
it! Much more to
