T.O.D.A.Y.'S "FRESH FIRE and NEW WINE" (Feb. 12, 2010)
T.O.D.A.Y. Ministries The Lord has reminded me of a message
that He gave me to send out in one of my Encouragements. It was about the
fact that we need to be aware of the subtle devices of the "ditch digger"!
He was laying a foundation for these prophetic messages that He is giving me for
this new season. He let me know that He intends for these messages to be a
"Wake Up Call" to the body of Christ! Not only to those that are in the
music ministry, but to every person that has received Him as their Lord and
Saviour! If you are calling yourself a "Christian", then make sure that
you are not "taking His name in vain"! That means . . . be "Christ-like".
Think like He thinks . . . talk like He talks . . . love like He loves . . .
serve like He served . . . pray like He prayed . . . obey the Father like He
obeyed Him . . . and above all, humble your self like Jesus humbled Himself!! Now, back to those of you that are in the music ministry . . . if the devil can't get you to be "competitive, jealous and envious" . . . he has another "ditch" to get you in to! It is called "pride, haughtiness and self-exaltation"! God's word tells you how to stay out of that "ditch" ~~~~~~~ "Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God and HE will exalt you in due time"! (1 Peter 5:6") There is no need for you to try and exalt yourself . . . just stay "humble" and the Lord Himself will "exalt" you! Oh! hear the Word of the Lord! This instruction from The Lord is a "condition" to a "Covenant promise" for anyone that will be obedient to it! You may not be in a music ministry, but the same "instruction" applies to whatever your job is! God will give grace to the "humble" person, but He comes against the "spirit of pride"! (1 Peter 5:5) I pray that all of you, who are reading this, will receive it as a "Wake Up Call" from The Lord! See you next week ~~~~~ In His Love, Luanne
