T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for Sept. 03, 2010
T.O.D.A.Y. Ministries Good Morning! * For those of you that are battling with
depression, my *"greeting" may not be welcomed by you. I can understand that. I
just wish it was enough to lift you up out of that "pit", but I know that it
takes more than just someone's "cheerful" attitude to deliver you from your
torment.....only Jesus, and His Word can make that happen! So, I am going to
give you more than just a "Good Morning"...I am going to allow The Holy Spirit
to show you how you got there and how you can be set free! Remember, I understand that everyone
who is reading this is not having this battle, but it just may let you know how
to have compassion for those that are going through this...and I have already
received emails from many who are. This is the "cycle" that the devil uses
to bring his evil spirit of "depression" on people~~~~~please hear this! It
starts with "self-condemnation".... which is the forerunner to
"self-pity"....which is the forerunner to "depression"....which is the
forerunner to "destructive behavior"....which will lead us again to
"self-condemnation"....and the cycle starts all over again! I am not just
talking some kind of "theoretical" talk....I have already "been there, done
that" and this is a revelation that The Lord gave me after HE delivered me from
this "torment". Read the last six words that I typed! Jesus is the only one that
can "remove that burden and destroy that YOKE"! However, He wants me to go ahead
and "expound" on the different things involved in the "cycle", so that you can
see how you got there, and how to avoid going back there! I will start with
"self-condemnation" on Monday. I am going to be "speaking the truth in love"
(Ephesians 4:15), and the "truth will make you free" (John 8:32). That scripture
could apply to all of us, not only for "depression" but for anything that we
need freedom from! Have a Blessed Day!! (Whom The
