T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for Sept. 01, 2010
T.O.D.A.Y. Ministries Good Morning! I believe that one of the reasons why
The Lord is having me share some of my past life with all of you, is because
some of you may have gone through some similar situations and just reading this
may help you know that you are not the only one that has made mistakes and wrong
choices in your life. It may also help someone "avoid" certain traps and
pitfalls that I fell into. However! God delivered me out of them all! Thank you
Jesus! And, He will do the same for you! The Lord had a "plan and a purpose" for
my life (just like He has for you), but I did not know how to be "led" by Him in
order to stay on the PATH that He had for me. So, I wandered around in the
wilderness for more years that the Israelites! But, even though I wandered, and
stumbled and was just one big MESS....He kept His hand on me! I will Praise Him
and thank Him forever and ever for that! As I look back, I can see that there
were times when I was in His plan, but I didn't recognize it at the time,
because I did not "know" Him the way that I "know" Him now. I knew Him only as
my "Savior" (I accepted Jesus into my heart when I was very young)....but, I did
not know Him as my "Lord'! Still, He continued to "work" and bring about things
that were part of His "plan". For example, my first marriage ended in divorce.
It was not a "happy" marriage....BUT, as a result of that union, I now have two
sons that are "born again", filled with The Holy Spirit, and love The Lord with
all of their hearts! I know that God gave them to me, because neither one of
them were "accidents"....I planned both of their conceptions! God has also added
to all of this by giving me a daughter (my oldest son's wife), and three
grandchildren who are all "born again" and filled with the Holy Spirit! So,
remember this...no matter how things "start out" in your life, if you will make
a decision to turn your life over to HIM, He knows how to turn it all around for
"your" good, and for "His" glory! I have more to share~~~~~~ Have a Blessed Day!! (God has a
