T.O.D.A.Y.'S  "Special Encouragement"  for July 4, 2010

I want to share this poem with you today, it is so timely for what the 4th of July and every day is really all about!. It was written by one of the writers on our staff. God has anointed her with a gift of poetry. Some of you may be getting this twice, but there are many of you that are not on her mailing list. LIBERTY

Christ Jesus has set us free
By His shed blood on Calvary
We are free to live our lives in liberty
Free to spread God's love to humanity

We have the liberty to receive His love
And the freedom to live well and above
Any circumstances that come to push and shove
When we listen to God's teaching, taught in love

We have the liberty to attend the church of our choice
To sing praises to God with others joined in voice
Liberty to spread the Gospel of truth and rejoice
Giving others an opportunity to make their choice

We live in a country that is free and blessed
Our soldiers endeavoring to reach their quest
Fighting to keep our land safe, they do their best
So we can live in freedom, knowing we are blessed

Galatians 5:1........Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free.

We can be most thankful for the liberty we have spiritually because our liberty came at a very high cost. God loves us so much and He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins to set us free. It is His shed blood on the cross that sets the sinner free! Amen!........Rejoice!

Let's also be thankful when celebrating this July 4, 2010.
Be thankful for the liberty we have in America because it also comes at the cost of many lives given in the service for our American liberties and other parts of the world.
We should be thankful everyday of our lives for the liberties we have because we have so much to be thankful for.
