T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for May 24, 2010
T.O.D.A.Y. Ministries Good Morning! I just want to share with you something
that may seem totally 'harmless', but could really be very 'harmful' to us in
our everyday way of speaking and being in agreement with.....for example, many
times I hear someone use this 'seemingly harmless' phrase, "Take care". Do you
ever hear someone say that to you? Do you ever say that to someone? I hear it
often, and there was a time that I may have used that 'phrase'. Not any more! I
have learned how important it is for us to keep our "words" in agreement with
the WORD OF GOD! Now, whenever I hear someone tell me to "take care', I just
smile, and say...."I can't do that. I have cast all of my cares on Jesus, and I
am not taking them back again". Even if I don't say it, out loud, to everyone
that says that to me, ( I do say it, out loud, to those that I know will
understand what I am talking about), and I do not "receive and agree" with them!
The words of our mouth are 'powerful', and being in 'agreement' with someone
else is also very 'powerful'! Some of you may be thinking...."Luanne,
this is way too radical". Well, I believe that we can never be TOO RADICAL when
it comes to being a "doer of the Word of God"! When we SPEAK something that is
contrary to His Word, and when we get in AGREEMENT with someone about something
that is contrary to His Word, we have opened the door for the enemy to bring to
pass what we have SPOKEN or entered into AGREEMENT with! Think about it! I am
more concerned with being in AGREEMENT with God and His Word, than with what
other people think about me! I am just sharing what The Holy Spirit is leading
me to share with someone today! God is on your side....so stay in agreement with
Him and His Word! Have a blessed day! (Think about
what you are saying and agreeing with!)
